About the Nottingham Hoods

Founded in 2009, the Nottingham Hoods are the only professional Men’s basketball team in Nottinghamshire. The team has enjoyed considerable success, securing two titles and now playing in the top tier of the National League Basketball. They boast a strong fan base that consistently supports their achievements.
The club’s influence extends throughout the community, thanks to the Nottingham Hoods’ outreach efforts. Club Founded
Nottingham Hoods Basketball was established with the goal of bringing professional basketball to Nottinghamshire. Our founders envisioned a club that would inspire and unite the community.

First Championship Win
In 2010, we celebrated our first major victory, winning the National Championship and setting the stage for future successes.
'15
Youth Development Program Launched
We launched our youth development program to nurture young talent and promote the sport among the next generation of players.
'18
Double Champions
Our hard work paid off as we were crowned National League Division 2 Champions and promoted to the top league, whilst our u18s were also crowned League Champions
'20
Junior Champions
In 2020 our u14 Juniors claimed their first League Title
