The Nottingham Hoods are proud to announce that Donell Nixon II has been named the Hoods Player of the Month for October, following a string of standout performances that have helped drive the team’s strong start to the season.

Throughout October, Donell showcased consistency, leadership, and versatility in key fixtures against the Loughborough Riders, Birmingham Rockets, Falkirk Fury, and Hemel Storm. His ability to control the tempo of the game and create for his teammates has been instrumental in the Hoods’ offensive rhythm and defensive intensity.

In the Hoods’ most recent fixture — a thrilling home contest against Hemel Storm — Donell delivered a brilliant all-around performance, posting 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 8 assists, earning himself a well-deserved place on the British Basketball Championship Team of the Week.
