Caiden Ross Joins Nottingham Hoods

The Nottingham Hoods are thrilled to announce the signing of rising talent Caiden Ross ahead of the 2025/26 BCB season. Ross joins the club from Charnwood Basketball Academy, where he has emerged as one of the most dynamic and promising young players in the EABL including leading them to the National Title in 2023/24.

The 19-year-old guard has been a standout performer for Charnwood, showcasing exceptional athleticism, court vision, and leadership well beyond his years. Known for his tenacious defense and ability to create plays under pressure, Ross now takes the next step in his basketball journey with the Hoods.

“Caiden is a player that I have known for a long time during my time at the Riders and he is ready to play at the next level” said Nottingham Hoods MD Russell Levenston “He brings energy, a strong work ethic, and the type of hunger you want in a young player. We’re excited to welcome him to the Hoods family and look forward to helping him develop at the next level.”

Ross will join preseason training with the Hoods later this summer as the team prepares for a highly competitive 2025/26 campaign. Fans can expect to see his debut in Hoods colors during the club’s preseason showcase in early September.

Speaking on his move, Ross shared: “I’m incredibly grateful for everything Charnwood and the Riders has done for me. It’s been my home and my foundation. But I’m ready for the next chapter, and I couldn’t be more excited to start it with the Nottingham Hoods. Let’s get to work.”

The Hoods continue to build a roster that blends youth and experience as they aim for a strong showing in the upcoming season.
