The Nottingham Hoods are delighted to announce the signing of Simeon Perry, an exciting young talent who joins the club ahead of the new British Championship Basketball season. Standing at 6’5”, Perry brings athleticism, versatility, and a dynamic playing style that will bolster the Hoods’ roster.

Perry arrives following a three season stint with the Derby Trailblazers, where he showcased his energy and physicality at the Division 1 level. Prior to that, he developed his game at Charnwood, a proven pathway for some of the country’s brightest basketball prospects.

Describing his game, Perry said:

“I’d say my style is explosive but quick on my feet. I can move across the court quickly and finish with power. I’m confident I can bring versatility to the Hoods this season on both ends of the floor, filling any role the team needs.”

Head Coach Vladan Dragosavac welcomed Perry to the club, commenting:

“Simeon is a fantastic addition for us. He’s young, hungry, and has already shown he can compete at a high level. His athleticism and ability to impact the game at both ends of the floor will give us great flexibility as we head into the new season.”

Fans can look forward to seeing Simeon in action as the Hoods tip off with a pre-season game against USA Select on the 6th of September.
