The Nottingham Hoods are excited to announce the signing of Ben Todd, a dominant 6’10” American centre, ahead of the upcoming British Championship Basketball season.

Todd joins the Hoods after an impressive campaign in Ireland last year, where he established himself as one of the league’s most formidable big men. Averaging 22 points and 11 rebounds per game, Todd consistently showcased his ability to control the paint on both ends of the floor.

Standing nearly seven feet tall, Todd brings size, strength, and experience that will be a huge asset to the Hoods. Known for his powerful presence under the basket, soft finishing touch, and relentless rebounding, he is expected to make an immediate impact in the British basketball scene.

“We’re thrilled to bring Ben into the Hoods family,” said Vladan Dragosavac. “His skill set, work ethic, and size are exactly what we need as we look to compete at the highest level this season. Fans can expect him to be a force in the paint and a key piece of our team’s success.”

Todd expressed his excitement about joining the club:

“I can’t wait to get started with the Hoods. The team has a strong reputation, and I’m looking forward to contributing, competing, and connecting with the fans in Nottingham.”

The Hoods continue to build momentum heading into the new season, with Todd’s signing underlining their ambitions to climb higher in the league standings. Supporters can look forward to seeing the towering centre in action when the Hoods face Derby Trailblazers at the home opening of Harvey Hadden on the 26th of September.
